In the first quarter of 2022, Europe's top five top-down games exhibited notable performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the trends for each game, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Clash Royale from Supercell saw fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $3.1M in early February before declining to around $1.4M by late March. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend, dropping from 568K in late January to around 462K by the end of March. Despite these changes, weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 35M throughout the quarter.

Brawl Stars, also from Supercell, experienced a significant drop in weekly revenue from $3.6M at the end of December to about $1.5M by late March. Download numbers decreased from 771K in late December to around 321K by the end of March. Active users saw a decline as well, from approximately 27M to 28M over the same period.

Match Masters ‎- PvP Match 3 from Candivore LTD experienced a decline in weekly revenue, starting at about $823K in late December and falling to around $672K by the end of March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 283K in early February before dropping to 132K by late March. Active users increased from around 1M in late December to 1.4M by mid-March, before settling at approximately 1.15M by the end of the quarter.

Solitaire Grand Harvest from Supertreat maintained a steady weekly revenue around $972K, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter. Downloads decreased steadily from 75K in late December to about 42K by the end of March. Active user numbers remained stable, fluctuating around 480K to 490K during the quarter.

Candy Crush Soda Saga by King showed consistent weekly revenue, averaging around $1M throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a gradual decline from 162K in early January to approximately 85K by late March. Active users remained stable, with minor fluctuations around the 2.1M mark.
